What if we combined the calm of yoga with the freedom of artistic creation? That's exactly the idea behind Yog'Art, our signature workshop at [POD]. But what exactly is it, and who is it for? We'll explain.
What exactly is creative yoga?
Creative yoga (or "Yog'Art") is a practice that connects the body and artistic expression. We start with a gentle yoga session to release tension and calm the mind. Then, with a soothed body and an open mind, we move on to creation: drawing, painting, colors, materials—without rules, without judgment. The goal is not to "make it beautiful," but to let out what is there.
What does a Yog'Art session at [POD] look like?
Our formula unfolds in three stages, over approximately 3 hours:
- 1 hour of gentle yoga — a practice accessible to all to relax the body and soothe the mind.
- A time for exchange — return to calm, sharing of feelings, opening up to creativity.
- 1.5 hours of creative expression — drawing, painting, total freedom. Materials provided.
Do you need to know how to draw or do yoga?
Absolutely not. Yog'Art is accessible to all levels, with no prerequisites. Whether you've never held a paintbrush or never done yoga, you're in the right place. The guidance is supportive, and everyone progresses at their own pace.
What are the benefits?
Participants often emerge feeling relaxed, centered, and light. Yoga releases physical tension; creation releases mental tension. Together, they offer a true timeless break—ideal for taking a breath, reconnecting with oneself, and boosting creativity.
